Attend our Teddy Bear Rescue, where girls will learn how to identify and prepare for an emergency and how to apply first aid to a minor cut or scrape. We will also talk about preparing for activities so we can stay safe. Girls in Kindergarten through 3rd grade are welcome to attend. Bring your favorite stuffed animal or doll. If you are a current Girl Scout, you are welcome to attend if you invite a friend who is not in Girl Scouts yet β€” but totally should be!

Once you register, we will send you a Zoom link to as well as any materials your girl will need. This event is meant to introduce upcoming Girl Scouts to the challenging and skill-building activities that they can enjoy in Girl Scouts! Contact Devon Wilson at or devon. Troop shared packages of Girl Scout Cookies with their Hometown Heroes, staff and volunteers at local shelters.

We want to hear how your girl is using her Girl Scout skills by taking initiative, caring for the community, and Girl Scouting at home. She can send in her story here. The troop selected foster care children and their families to receive donated cookies this year to brighten their days. Their troop crest is the sun and they have really embraced it this year!

The troop also set aside some cookies for the staff at Collinwood Assisted Living. The girls had a blast. It is wonderful watching the new things girls can try and do because of Girl Scouts. The winning ticket was in the last case that I picked up from the cupboard to help fill our Hometown Hero donations.

I opened every one and did have a moment of feeling like Charlie Bucket when I saw it.

We had a troop meeting and were discussing money earning to get a storage space for all of our equipment, so this is a nice little boost for the troop in that direction! Some of the girls from Troop had some downhill skiing fun last weekend! The sun was shining. The snow was fresh and great for skiing. The girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They had a great time playing on the tramps, climbing wall, zip-lines, and hanging out with each other. What is better than the gift of friendship with your Girl Scout sisters?!?

The company running the program has to limit class sizes right now to six participants due to COVID, so other girls will get their chance in the next month. It was a super fun experience! Both of these events are run by Girl Scouts in high school. They did them in person in β€” and for β€”it is on Zoom. They have done one Zoom event so far with good feedback. And, they are ready to run their last two events of this school year!

Daisy Keira and Junior Cecilia had the best time checking activities off their Winter Get Outdoors Challenge checklist during a recent snowy day. They also made snow angels and had a snowball fight. Their favorite activity was sledding together. Complete the required of activities for your Girl Scout level to earn each side of the patch. Learn more.
